The Black Gold
GMVSB, in its effort to expand and diversify its business spectrum, has also ventures into the Oil and Gas - commonly known as The Black Gold business.
This diversification, taken by the management, is a brave step moving forward after several consultations and studies with various business entities involved in the Oil and Gas industry. The demand for the “Fossil Fuel Power” has been on the increasing trend even the invention of alternative power sources.
With this expansion and diversification activities, GMVSB is not only relying and involved in the home grown business but also expanding its wings abroad.
After securing dealership with several oil and gas companies and refineries both local and abroad, GMVSB has currently secured the supply of oil amounting to 300,000 metric tonnes a month for a period of 12 months. Currently, GMVSB is in the stage of negotiating with other buyers to secure supply and delivery of the EN590 product.
Although currently GMVSB is supplying only one product, it is also considering to supply other “fossil fuel” product such as LNG, AVGAS, LPG.
On the future front, GMVSB will continue in its venture into the “Black Gold” industry such as having its storage facilities.
